Amy loved Disneyland

Amy, who has cerebral palsy, is from Falkirk. Ever since she was little, Amy has dreamt of meeting Minnie and Mickey Mouse. When Starlight heard this, our wish granters got to work and organised the trip of a lifetime for Amy and her family.

Sophie met Chelsea

Sophie, who is from Bideford in North Devon, has had her dearest wish granted by Starlight Children’s Foundation: to meet the Chelsea team and watch a live game.

A special duet with McFly

Adam had ‘a perfect day’ when his wish to sing with McFly came true.

Adam was just four years old when he was diagnosed with a brain tumour. He has had brain surgery four times and currently is in the middle of an 18-month chemotherapy programme.

Daniel has osteosarcoma, a type of bone cancer. He hopes one day to become a marine biologist, and his wish to be an orca keeper reflects his love of the sea and the creatures that inhabit it.

Charlotte’s wish was simple: to be able to go out cycling with her family.
