Waiting For Wishes

Aaron told Starlight, ‘I watch all of the TV programs about the Great Barrier Reef. My mum says I’m like a fish when I’m in the water!’ Aaron’s Starlight wish is to swim in the Great Barrier Reef, Australia.

Levi has spent so much time in and out of hospital during his life and has wished for a bedroom makeover so that he may better enjoy his time at home.

Sonny is five years old and loves nothing more in the world than being in water! His greatest wish is to go on holiday to a sunny place where it is not too cold to swim outside.

Lydia from Cheshire is six years old and was diagnosed in October 2011 with a brain stem glioma, a form of brain tumor.

Josh is 13 years old and lives in Barnsley, South Yorkshire with his mum, dad and three sisters. It would mean so much to him and his family if he were to meet his heros at Chelsea and be a mascot for one of their games.

Henry suffers from cerebral palsy and has a day-to-day struggle with his accessibility and independence. His Starlight wish-of-a-lifetime is to have his own accessible adventure playground outside, which would give his confidence a huge boost.

Adam, from London, is 18 years old. Before he was diagnosed with carcinoma, a form of cancer, in May 2011, Adam was following his dreams and was playing football at an extremely high level and so his Starlight wish is to train with Real Madrid Football Club and meet the first team players.
