Starlight does not warrant that the functions contained in the material contained in this site will be uninterrupted or error free, that defects will be corrected, or that this site or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs or represents the full functionality, accuracy and reliability of the materials.

Image Copyright

Starlight’s reputation and goodwill is extremely important. Permission to use images featured on this website has only been given to Starlight and therefore should not be downloaded or used in any way by a third party without consent. Many of the children featured on this website have life-threatening illnesses and to use their images without consent is against the wishes of their families. For information on obtaining permission for an image, please email our press office or call 020 7262 2881.

Document Copyright

Documents may be copied for personal use only on the condition that copyright and source indications are also copied, no modifications are made and the document is copied entirely. However, some documents and photos have been published on this site with the permission of the relevant copyright owners (who may not be Starlight). Payment Options

How to pay
Once you have made your selection you will be guided through the payment process. The method of payment on our web site is by credit or debit card. We do not capture or store your credit card details, only the authority from our bank that your credit card payment has been approved.

If you authorise a recurring donation by standing order, you are in control of your donation and can manage your donation via your bank.

The cards we accept
We accept all cards (except American Express and Diners cards) via a secure payments system which is linked directly to our bank which will authorise all card payments. We can accept cards issued in the UK or overseas.

Receipt
We issue an email receipt for each order or donation.

Refunds and cancellations

Refunds
A refund may be available if you make an error in your donation. Any refunds will be made by credit to the card used for the original purchase or donation. If you make an error, please email our fundraising team or call 020 7262 2881 and speak to the fundraising team as soon as possible.

Cancellations
Donations cannot be cancelled if we have already notified a third party of its receipt.

These terms and conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.

If these terms and conditions are not accepted in full, the use of this site must be terminated immediately.
