Create special Christmas memories for seriously ill children

This Christmas we’ll be doing everything we can to give children like Oscar something to look forward to, and their families a chance to take a break from the stresses of illness.

With your support we will be able to create memories that will last a lifetime.

We would like to contact you about wish stories, fundraising appeals and opportunities to support Starlight.

If you are a UK taxpayer, we can reclaim 25p for every £1 you donate. Your correct address is needed to identify you as a current UK taxpayer.

Please notify Starlight if you want to cancel this declaration, change your status, name or home address, no longer pay sufficient tax on your income and/or capital gains. If you pay Income Tax at the higher or additional rate and want to receive the additional tax relief due to you,
you must include all your Gift Aid donations on your Self-Assessment tax return or ask HM Revenue and Customs to adjust your tax code.

Oscar was born with severe spinal scoliosis. And even though he’s surprised the doctors and grown up to be a bright, beautiful ten-year-old, it’s been incredibly tough on him – and his family.

Throughout it all, Starlight have been a light in the darkness, giving Oscar something to look forward to, and our family a chance to take a break from the stresses of his illness.

Your kindness today could help grant children like Oscar  their special Starlight Wish. Your donation could also give children who are too poorly to leave hospital a taste of festive fun, thanks to our touring pantomime.

For a few minutes, they can forget they’re in hospital. That’s so special.

Thanks to the support of people like you, seven-year-old Lucienne had a roarsome (!) time at last year’s Starlight Christmas party. Lucienne has a chromosome microdeletion, which affects the communication between the two sides of her brain.

At the party, she was transformed into a roaring rainbow leopard by a makeup artist and, in her own words, “had the best day ever!”

Your donation could make such a difference to seriously ill children this Christmas. Please will you share some joy with them – and donate today? Thank you.
