Royal Parks Runners conquer miles to bring Starlight smiles to poorly children …

Zulu gets in the Starlight spirit

Big smiles from the Starlight Runners100 heroic runners took on the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon on Sunday 7th October to raise funds for Starlight.

Starting and finishing in Hyde Park, the 13.1 mile route ran across four of London’s stunning Royal Parks – Hyde Park, St. James’s Park, Kensington Gardens and Green Park. In addition to passing some of the capital’s most historic landmarks, including Buckingham Palace, Houses of Parliament, the London Eye and the Albert Memorial, our runners were also buoyed along by Starlight’s very noisy Cheering Squad!

A huge thank you to everyone who took part – your efforts really will help Starlight to make the dreams of lots of very poorly children come true.  Thank you also to Richmond Physiotherapy, who kindly provided wonderful massages to our runners afterwards, and Jonathan Rose for capturing the day on camera!

If you would like to be part of Starlight’s running team but missed out on the Royal Parks, why not get involved in the Great South Run on 28th October?
