As a bestselling children’s author, Mark Griffiths always loves getting to meet his young readers but on Tuesday 15th October Mark did an extra special storytelling event for a group of poorly children at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.
Mark visited the hospital as part of Starlight Storytellers, a national venture that was launched in 2011 by Starlight and publisher Simon & Schuster. During the visit, he read from his most recent children’s book, Geek Inc.: Technoslime Terror, which is the first in a fabulous new comedy sci-fi series. The audience also enjoyed excerpts from Space Lizards Stole My Brain, which was described by Financial Times as a “very funny debut”, and Space Lizards Ate My Sister!
