A special duet with McFly

Adam had ‘a perfect day’ when his wish to sing with McFly came true.

Adam was just four years old when he was diagnosed with a brain tumour. He has had brain surgery four times and currently is in the middle of an 18-month chemotherapy programme.

As soon as the boys in McFly heard about Adam, they said they would love to meet him at the O2 arena…

Adam and his mum and dad were picked up in a stretch limousine, and by the time they arrived at the O2, they felt like rock stars themselves! They met the band, and Adam was delighted when McFly invited him to sing his favourite McFly song Don’t Stop Me Now with them!

Adam and his parents then sat back and watched McFly’s concert from their front row seats.

Adam’s mum said: “He hasn’t stopped talking about it since; it really was such a perfect day. I have never seen him so excited. The McFly boys were fantastic with him and even gave him a signed plectrum and drumsticks. We cannot thank them and Starlight enough!”

Adam now hopes to be a pop star himself one day!
