Kick-off for Jacob and his Liverpool heroes

Jacob Jaudat-Brown and Liverpool's Luis Suárez

Jacob Jaudat-Brown and Liverpool's Luis SuárezEight year old Jacob suffers from a life-shortening condition called Cystic Fibrosis, which seriously affects the major organs of the body and particularly the lungs.  To fight the illness, Jacob requires physiotherapy and daily medication and he has to endure endless visits to Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital where he is treated.

Jacob supports Liverpool and, when he was referred to Starlight for a wish, he asked to watch Liverpool play and to meet his sporting heroes.  Starlight arranged for Jacob and his father Wayne to travel to Liverpool, where they were given exclusive access to a team training session.  They enjoyed watching the team have a good kick-about, before being able to meet all of their favourite players.  Jacob was even able to have his photo taken with midfielder Maxi Rodríguez and forward Luis Suárez, which was a dream come true for the footie mad youngster and the perfect end to a brilliant day!
