Support Starlight and celebrate Captain Tom

30th April 2021 would’ve not only been Captain Sir Tom Moore’s 101st birthday, but it’s also the one-year anniversary of his famous 100 laps of his garden that inspired the nation and raised an incredible £38.9 million for the NHS. Tom’s message of hope – “Tomorrow will be a good day” – resonated around the globe during some of the darkest days of the pandemic, bringing light and comfort to millions worldwide.

That’s why from the 30th April – 3rd May we’re inviting you to take on the Captain Tom 100 for Starlight. The challenge is simple, choose something you enjoy, and do it 100 times. This could be anything from playing 100 board games, juggling for 100 seconds, baking 100 cupcakes or drawing 100 pictures. It’s up to you to create your dream challenge!

“We're so grateful for the incredible support we have received since my father started his record-breaking fundraising walk and that his message of hope was shared with the world. We look forward to celebrating with you on what would have been his 101st birthday weekend – it’s going to be fun!”

Hannah Ingram-Moore, Captain Tom's daughter
