Starlight Children’s Foundation are pleased to support the National Association of Health Play Specialist (NAHPS) in celebrating Play in Hospital Week. A national awareness week focusing on the importance of play in hospital, from Monday 7th – Sunday 12th October. Play Teams working in hospital settings across the country are encouraged to plan a fun week of activities to raise awareness of the importance of play in the treatment.
Starlight Health Play Specialist of the Year Award
This year Starlight and NAHPS are recognising the work of Health Play Specialists with the first ever Starlight Health Play Specialist of the Year Award.
To celebrate Play In Hospital Week, Starlight will be providing a Activity and Information Pack (coming soon), full of usual information and activities to make the most of Play in Hospital Week, as well as recognising the work of Health Play Specialist across the country with the ‘Starlight Health Play Specialist of the Year’ award.
