Emma Samms is the co-founder of Starlight and one of our leading lights. Making her name as the glamorous Fallon in the iconic 1980s soap Dynasty, Emma has used her fame and connections to brighten the lives of hundreds of thousands of sick children throughout the UK, the USA, and Australia.

While happy to leave the day-to-day running of the charity to the management team, Emma devotes countless hours to appearing as Starlight’s spokesperson in the media, attending corporate and public fundraising events, fronting campaigns, and helping make wishes come true.

Princess Alexandra, The Honourable Lady Ogilvy, is Starlight’s Royal Patron. First cousin of the late Queen Elizabeth, she carries out official engagements representing the monarchy. She is currently 58th in the line of succession to the throne.

The activities undertaken by the Princess vary greatly, ranging from visits to local hospitals and charities to State occasions.
