Collection pots are a great way of raising awareness about Starlight as well as raising much needed funds.
We have two types of collection pots available:
Plastic Secure Collection Pots - these are for collections that will not always be supervised, and are secured with a chain (e.g. on a shop counter, pub bar, reception desk etc.)
Cardboard Collection Boxes - For shorter term fundraising (e.g. cake sales or one day events) or collection points in a safe environment (e.g. at home or restricted staff room), we recommend cardboard collection boxes. These incur less costs to the charity and are better suited to these activities/locations.
Your fundraising must always be compliant with the Fundraising Regulator Guidelines. Further reading around collections and cash handling can be found on the Fundraising Regulator website.
