Why Play Matters

Play is good for you.  It reduces stress. It builds connection. It makes hard things feel slightly more manageable.

And if it does all of that for us - imagine what it does for a child going through scary, painful treatments.

We know it reduces trauma and anxiety for children in hospital. We know it makes the unbearable, bearable.

Play is the best medicine and by joining The Big Play, you’re helping us make sure every child who needs it, gets their dose - while remembering to get yours too.
