There is worldwide recognition that the first years of a child’s life are vital for their development.

No matter ability or condition, play is an innate need for children and allows them to develop their understanding of the world.

For babies in hospital, their emotional and mental development and wellbeing is often overlooked because they cannot communicate how they’re feeling.

There can be a lack of knowledge and confidence in what to do and how to support developmental play in babies. We have curated the Baby Box with toys and activities to facilitate play and educate on methods and motivations for play.  Supporting health play professionals to build relationships with babies helps to soothe and stimulate them and achieve their developmental milestones.
