Lights4fun, one of our corporate partners, had a team of six colleagues take part in the Yorkshire Challenge to raise money for Starlight and help us protect play for seriously ill children.
The Yorkshire Challenge is based around the Nidderdale area, on the south east edge of the Yorkshire Dales, and has 25km, 50km, and 100km routes for participants to choose from. The Lights4fun team had five colleagues conquer the 25km route with one colleague bravely taking on the 100km route!
Lights4fun has supported Starlight as a corporate sponsor for years. Not only have they provided fun twinkling lights for us to use at our various events, they also sell the Blue Osby Starlight with all proceeds coming directly back to us.
As one of our corporate partners, Lights4fun knows how important play is for seriously ill children. They believe play helps seriously ill children find an escape and have some whilst going through treatment and difficult times. They also shared with us that the work being done by Starlight plays a crucial role in making the experience better for seriously ill children and their families, and they’re honoured they can play a small role in the mission.
